As Assistant Production Manager you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence within the cheese and whey departments. The role will include the day-to-day operational management of the production departments, the development of a team of operators, operational accountability for the plant performance and ensuring compliance with all health and safety, quality, environmental and regulatory compliance standards. You will work closely with the production managers to learn and understand the production process to deliver a world-class performance within the departments. You will liaise closely with all internal departments including technical and maintenance together with external contractors to implement cost saving and continuous improvement activity. The role includes the identification of profit improvement opportunities across both departments and delivery of these to meet operational goals.

Liquid Processing Operative

As Liquid Processing Operator you will undertake a role to maximise product output, efficiencies and quality. The job covers all aspects of our liquid processing operations, including milk reception, liquid despatch, evaporation, water management, process control (including SCADA), quality assurance and plant cleaning-in-place (CIP). You will work closely with the Plant Technician to learn and understand the production process to deliver a world-class performance within the departments. Working 42 hours per week, operating across a 24/7 Liquid Processing operation covering day shift and night shift.
